Wanted: Homeschool Teacher

[29] He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. [30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: [31] but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

This morning I was thinking about how an advertisement for a Homeschool Teacher would go. If truly stated it would look something like this:

Wanted: Homeschool Teacher

Family seeking fun-loving, godly homeschool teacher. Applicants will provide total educational development, and daily care for children of multiple ages. The Homeschool Teacher will assume the following roles: cook, housemaid, administrative assistant, accountant, nurse, computer repair technician, athletic coach, social director, and will teach multiple subject areas across multiple grade levels. This is a full time position - approximately 120 hours a week.

Qualified applicants must be able to work under pressure, prioritize workloads, and have excellent multitasking abilities. Quick thinking and extensive knowledge of varied subject matter are a must. Promising candidates will be resourceful, able to problem solve, show creative, hard-working leadership abilities, and adjust quickly to distractions. Organizational, and Geometry skills are a plus. Previous teaching experience and a college degree are preferred, but not required. If you are interested in working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, this position is for you! For more information about this exciting opportunity to earn full filing rewards, please apply in person.

After reading the qualifications, it's no wonder parents walk away from this employment opportunity. Who can measure up to these standards? You and I can through the power and strength of God, as we step out in faith and yield our weaknesses to God. We will not only be able to get the job done, but we will be able to discover the fantastic benefits of teaching our children at home.

Be encouraged to know that I am always lifting the homeschoolers, including myself, up to the Father asking for strength and wisdom to lead our families.
