Wanted: Homeschool Teacher

Isaiah 40:29-31 KJV

[29] He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. [30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: [31] but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

This morning I was thinking about how an advertisement for a Homeschool Teacher would go. If truly stated it would look something like this:

Wanted: Homeschool Teacher

Family seeking fun-loving, godly homeschool teacher. Applicants will provide total educational development, and daily care for children of multiple ages. The Homeschool Teacher will assume the following roles: cook, housemaid, administrative assistant, accountant, nurse, computer repair technician, athletic coach, social director, and will teach multiple subject areas across multiple grade levels. This is a full time position - approximately 120 hours a week.

Qualified applicants must be able to work under pressure, prioritize workloads, and have excellent multitasking abilities. Quick thinking and extensive knowledge of varied subject matter are a must. Promising candidates will be resourceful, able to problem solve, show creative, hard-working leadership abilities, and adjust quickly to distractions. Organizational, and Geometry skills are a plus. Previous teaching experience and a college degree are preferred, but not required. If you are interested in working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, this position is for you! A Winston Churchill Book Study from a Christian Worldview One of the strengths of reading Churchill from a Christian perspective is recognizing that, while he highlights human leaders and events, Scripture reminds us that God is the ultimate author of history . Math & Science Homeschool from a Christian Worldview Finding a science curriculum that is taught from a creation standpoint was one of the first challenges I was met with, as a new homeschool mom. I am a first generation homeschool mom. The twins I homeschool are my youngest children of seven, and the only ones we homeschooled. In the beginning, I found many discrepancies with the content of the educational science curriculum, according to my own Biblical Worldview.  Answers in Genesis  helped me do my own research about science, as I studied books written by Creation Scientists.
